SCYFOOD > Whisky Glenfiddich 1964 Ian MacLeod 37 Year Old Contact Customer Service ENQUIRY William Grant, the founder, was born in Dufftown in 1849, he started as a clerk at the Mortlach distillery, working his way up to manager during twenty years, he bought second-hand patched distilling equipment from the nearby Cardhu distillery and produced the first batch of Glenfiddich on Christmas Day 1887. This whisky was distilled in 1964 and laid to rest in sherry hogshead #10791 before being bottled 37 years later by Ian Macleod & Co. 70cl/58,7%
