SCYFOOD > Whisky Clynelish 12 Year Old Ainslie and Heilbron 1973 Contact Customer Service ENQUIRY Originally founded in 1819 as Clynelish Distillery by Marquis of Stafford to create a market for his tenant farmers' grain, it lies on the northern outskirts of the village of Brora on the Sutherland coast. The present Clynelish Distillery was built 1968 with the whisky produced by thhe original distillery renamed rora until 1983. This 12 year old was bottle at a cask strength of 56.9%, at his request. Clynelish bottled three batches of this for Giaccone in 1969, 1971 and 1973. This particular release is the first outing for the new orange and brown label style, that would become the official Clynelish livery in 1977. 75cl/56,9%
