The vineyard has only one parcel of land, which is rare in Bordeaux, and the wine produced has the potential to be the best in the region. The vines average 35 years old and are planted on gravelly, mixed gravel and clay soils with an iron-rich subsoil, which the locals call "clas de fer" (iron residue). The vineyards are also rich in minerals, which give the wine's bouquet an extra dimension. The wine is characterized by a ripe, yet seductive style that ages quickly and always aims for fruitiness without sharpness. 83/100 75cl x 8
