Lighter than the 2000, the 2001 is a dark ruby/purple color all the way to the rim with a bouquet of new saddle leather and lots of black fruit. Medium-bodied, the tannins are sweet and overflowing with fruit and extract. It has an expansive mid-palate and finish with good texture. 90/100 75cl x 12
