Critic tasting note: (2010 vintage) "Gran Bussia is a union of three Single Vineyards; Romirasco, Cicala and Colonello, made from a careful, accurate selection of parcels from the oldest vineyards. From an elitist profile of indisputable sensory quality scents emerge which are reminiscent of withered red flowers, medicinal herbs such as sage, thyme and marjoram and a subtle but yet present bloody reflection which gives complexity and reveals the emotional nature of this wine. In the background liquorice, wet earth and sweet black cherries make the unique bouquet complex and articulated, showing off the quality and weapons at the disposition of this wine to evolve over time. Full bodied, well polymerized, completely mature tannins of admirable quality, rigid and vibrant at the moment, and a finale of incredible tension and great verticality. The persistence seems infinite and produces a wine which is unique of it's kind. Better from 2023 onwards." 99/100 75cl
