Since 1970, when it was taken over by the Paget family, the chateau has been managed with a strong heritage of winemaking know-how and passion; in 2019, the chateau was purchased by Breton entrepreneur and Bordeaux wine enthusiast Gérard Gicquel. Located between Meurice and Saint-Julien, Fourcas is situated at 43 meters above sea level in the oldest geological formation in the Médoc known as "THE ROOF OF MEDOC" Over 80% of the soil is composed of sandy and clay soils derived from the Pyrenees Mountains and limestone in the lower part, which is rare in the Médoc. 75cl x 12
