The company made wine not only from its own vineyards, but also from purchased grapes, and it was recognized as a "connoisseur" of grapes, and the phrase "grapes bought by Cappellano" was a guarantee of the high quality of its grapes. Today, the company has only a few hectares of vineyards, mainly in Gabutti, one of Barolo's leading crus, and produces four types of wine.
