Expert tasting note: (2019 vintage) "Deep, dark ruby-red with purple touches at the rim. The aromas have a medium intensity of cassis & black-cherry. The palate is wonderfully smooth & juicy. The fruit has concentrated licorice , black-cherry and blackcurrant character. The structure is plentiful, but so rich & ripe that it is silky. Alcohol adds a little warmth, but doesn't feel like its 14.5%. The finish is mellow & long with graphite concentration, but is not harsh.
